Refund Policy

We want you to love your TrueTap. If you don't, we'll make it right.

60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Try TrueTap for up to 60 days from the date your order arrives. If you're not satisfied for any reason, you can return it for a full refund of the product price.

We offer this guarantee because we believe in our product. Most customers notice a difference in their water, skin, and hair within the first few weeks — but we give you a full 60 days to be sure.

How to Request a Refund

To start a return, email us at hello@truetap.co with:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return (this helps us improve)
  • A photo of the product, if possible

We'll respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a return shipping address.

Return Shipping

Customers cover return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

For defective or incorrect items, we cover return shipping. Just send us a photo of the issue when you reach out.

What's Eligible for a Refund

  • Showerheads in any condition (used or unused) within 60 days of delivery
  • Replacement filters in unopened, original packaging within 30 days of delivery
  • Defective or damaged products at any time within the warranty period (see below)

What's Not Eligible

  • Returns requested after 60 days from delivery
  • Used or opened replacement filters (for hygiene reasons)
  • Products damaged due to misuse, modification, or installation in non-standard fittings
  • Original shipping costs (these are non-refundable)

Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned product:

  • We'll inspect it within 3–5 business days
  • We'll email you to confirm the refund has been approved
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Damaged or Defective Items

If your TrueTap arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@truetap.co with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damage or defect
  • A photo of the original packaging

We'll send a replacement at no cost, or issue a full refund — your choice.

Warranty

Every TrueTap showerhead is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers issues caused by faulty materials or workmanship under normal household use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from improper installation
  • Damage from non-standard water systems or pressure outside 40–80 PSI
  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, discoloration from normal use)
  • Filter cartridges (these are consumables, replaced every 6 months)

To claim warranty service, email hello@truetap.co with your order number and a description of the issue.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order at no cost any time before it ships. Once your order has been dispatched, our standard return policy applies.

For subscription orders (filter refills), you can cancel, pause, or modify your subscription anytime from your account dashboard or by emailing us. There are no cancellation fees.

International Returns

We accept returns from all countries we ship to. International return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Customs duties and taxes paid on the original order are non-refundable, as these are collected by your local government, not by us.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking shows the package as delivered but you haven't received it:

  • Check with neighbors and your delivery location
  • Contact your local postal service or courier
  • If still missing, email us within 7 days of the marked delivery date

We'll work with the carrier to investigate. If the package is confirmed lost in transit, we'll send a replacement at no cost.
